Subject: poly spit tech test

I've just mailed my evaluation sheet along with $6.95. This call is a winner in every category! It blows wet, goes up to scale of 10 on high end; down to 1 on low end; volume beats DR 85, primos madam, and echo cocobola timber; easy blowing call; may move your buck brush to 2nd spot on my lanyard! I'm a novice caller but have really worked on skills last 18 months. I can run a call pretty good, I just need a session with Buck to complete the job. Dewey Young, Fayetteville, GA

Buck Gardner Double Nasty, and a 6N1 Pintail Whistle
Ruger Red Label Over/Under 12 gauge shooting Federal Premium 2 ¾ inch #4 shot.

A blue bird sky, 38 degrees, and a south wind in the hole aptly named “The Honey Hole”. I invite my friend John and we got to the hole with about 30 minutes to setup before daylight. Since I leave all my stuff in the hole, it only takes about 10 minutes to put out the jerk-a-spreader and about a dozen other decoys. So for 20 minutes we sit in the dark, drink coffee and talk about how much we love this time of the day. It is a beautiful, moon light morning and the birds are working the hole well before shooting time. We watch as several duck pop in and out of the hole before we can shoot.

We finally reach shooting time and start the jerk cord and calls. My Buck Gardner Double Nasty has proven it’s self in the hole more than one time. There is nothing like it for a cypress timber hole. As you can see form the picture, it is a quick morning A full two man limit of 4 mallards, 2 widgeons, 6 gadwalls were all on the water by 6:53 AM. Man I love this stuff!!

Thanks Buck for making your great calls and for the stories and wisdom you imparted this weekend at the Mean Mallard calling seminar. You are a great and very genuine guy. That’s got to be why you are so successful. And your calls “aint to shabby either”!!
